UQ has been selected as part of the development team to design three new affordable housing buildings in Brownsville, Brooklyn. UQ originally submitted a proposal in 2016 under the city's Neighborhood Construction Program (NCP) and was awarded the project along with Alembic Community Development and JMR Development in August 2017. The project is currently in schematics and will go through the ULURP process at City Planning before an anticipated construction start in 2019.
