Urban Quotient principal Samir S. Shah was nominated by the Architecture program at Parsons the New School for Design to serve as a non-voting member of the NAAB accreditation team that visited the school in late February. NAAB stands for National Architectural Accreditation Board and periodically reviews professional architecture programs to ensure they meet established standards for architectural practice and education. As part of the team, Samir reviewed the school’s work and curriculum, met with university students, faculty, and administration over a four day period, and joined in the deliberations on how the school was meeting the accreditation standards. Other past non-voting members on previous NAAB visits for Parsons have been noted New York City architects including Leslie Gill among others.
